Is bringing the magic of performance art to communities in South and Central America that are under represented or unable to provide performance arts education to local children.
The Xela theater collective was founded in January of 2012 by Lynda DeBerry. By 2013 we hope to have theater work shops for local children up and running in Xela Guatemala.
We know that unity within the community members can grow through the respect, support and admiration for established and developing artists from all walks of life.
The Xela Theater collective will be performing a stage adaptation of Quetin tarantinos FOUR ROOMS. Productions will run from December 27-31. Tickets are on sale for 10.00 for the Friday, Saterday and Monday night showings and the doors are open for free entry on THURSDAY DECEMBER 27th. We will be hoping for donations on Thursday but will certainly not be buggy about it! The proceeds from the show will go to the repair of the CONCHA ACUSTICA in XELA GUATEMALA.!!!! You can buy your tickets here by clicking the donate tab and we will email you with your tickets and confirmations! THANKS AND SEE YOU SOON!!!
